Default Tackett Creek, near Ride Royal Blue

http://www.chattanoogan.com/2014/10/...k-Unit-Of.aspx

I've just found out about this place. Apparently, it's a bit like Hatfield, before it was officially Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. The trails are on a reclaimed strip mine. I'm not sure if any mining is currently being done or not.

At any rate, I will be at RRB April 15-19, riding with some folks from the Michigan ATV Club. http://www.atvoffroad.net/forums/sho...pril-15th-19th

After that part of the trip is completed, a couple of Jeeps will be down from MI to join me in riding at Tackett Creek.

ATV pics will be posted at the ATV site by me and others, I'm sure. Jeep pics too.

It looks a little narrow for Jeeps so I guess we'll bring along some chainsaws.

It looks like it would be a good place to ride and if the trails are like Royal Blue then definitely a good place..

Good times...@ Windrock. Tackett Creek was a bust. No paper maps & bad GPS ones. Give TN time to assimilate TC into RRB maps & it will be great.

RRB was good but sloppy from all the rain they had. Gooey peanut butter clay. Deep ruts & little traction with ATVs. Rockers worked well tho.

Pics when I get home tomorrow.

Interesting obstacle course. Zigging and Zagging while bouncing over a downed tree made for some interesting maneuvers. We had to stack rocks and limbs to get up on the tree, RF tire kept sliding sideways from the mud.

Then I had a little muddy water issue.

Viewed from inside the Jeep.

Tires can get a little out of balance.

But it's all good. We were on a Secret Mission.

Stopped at the Jeep's birthplace.

What's a fair price to ask for the 2011 650 camo single seater? 900 miles.

Coral is done riding her own. Time to sell it.

Kbb trade value is around 4500. Retail value is around 6600. Ask for 6. Probably be worth 1000 more if it had my rockers on it. Sell them to ya for 500.
