Default Introduction

Hello, my name is Pete Muzio, Independent Amsoil Synthetic Lubricant Dealer, Lumber Bridge NC.

My experience with Amsoil lubricants goes back to 1987, and I have been a dealer and automotive/cycle/fleet/industrial lubrication consultant for over 4 years now.

My background is 24 yrs aerospace structural repair mechanic with the US Air Force, and presently a government contractor.

I invite you to drop me a note on the forum (or private message) with concerns or interest you have lubrication wise, and we can look at your spec's, discuss your performance goals, and seek some options or recommendations.

No "my product is better than yours"--I fully respect a persons choice in the things they buy and use, and make no judgement. You will not see me bash brands and I encourage the same.

If I have available any testing data, I'll share it with you as well. Please keep in mind many quad/cycle manufacturers oils are made by oil companies, re-packaged, and distributed by the quad/cycle manf'r. So if you're seeking a definitive comparison or info on your manfacturer's brand, we may have to work together and find the original oil company to gain the TBN, HS, NOAK test, and so on to find the specs of the manf lubricant. It's not easy to locate at times, and they (quad/cycle manufacturer's) often do not submit thier oils to group tests.

If I can help you get better performance, reduce your operating costs some, or help keep that repair shop visit off into the future, I'm happy to assist.

Food for thought also, is that Amsoil engine and drive train lubricants are all extended drain, as well as filtration products too. I can assist you with applications from lawn mower to diesel electrical power plants. In that group there is your quad and tow vehicle, each at present day costs, deserves the same consideration of premium quality affordable lubricants.

My company website www.primesynthetics.com has over 100 pages of info and covers products used in family, fleet, heavy equipment, boats, ATV, M/C's, you name it.

The www.lubedealer.com/pmuzio site is a brief one and good for those who know what they want to order, and "one click" to the product info sheets and storefront.

Thanks, and I hope our paths trackside or trailside, will meet one day soon.

Pete

Excellant introduction! I looked and didn't notice an ATV Wild discount anywhere though?

Seriously I have to check out your pricing to ship all the way to Wisconsin. I have to change the gearcase lubes and tranny lubes on my EFI and might want to explore Amsoil stuff. Might even look into the oil. I use Mobil One now simply because it has been good to me and is readily available.

I have a 2001 Silverado 5.3 V8 it has 145000. When the temperture is below 30F it has piston slap it knocks for about 40 seconds I understand it is very common on this truck. Do you know of anything that might help. GM says it will not hurt anything but it is annoying.
