Default CanAM heated hand grips

well after the thanksgiving ride and a few other times that I have ridden with the stock can am heated grips. I will say that they are not for me.. My plan now is to remove these and put on a good set that will take any type of grip that I can use with the heated wrap underneath.. The stockers that BRP sells are just like riding with no grips at all..

I have the BRP ones, they are a bit hard but I have never had a problem, you must have 'girly hands' Rob

Hell I wish geo.. they make 2 sets from what I understand and this set if just as hard as a rock.. While they do heat good they are nothing more than heated sand paper while holding onto the bars.. Might also have something to do with the 28 mud bugs on the front...

When I bought mine BRP only had the one set but they are hard as a rock. I always wear gloves when I ride so it really has not been a problem.

I think on the outlander I would like to go to the heated wraps that go underneath the grips. I bought a set of grips for the raptor and I love these. They are a lock on style grip that uses clamps instead of glue and they are VERY comfortable. Check out the ODI lock on grips, they are te best grips I think I have ever ran.

They also have the tusk heated wraps for under the grips, not sure how good those work though.

I have the heated grips sold by Bass Pro shops and they work like a charm. Grips are kinda hard but they are also large so it seems easier for my hands to grip them. I have the power steering and 26" horns all round.

Thing rides sweet... I replaced my 98 F-150 with 204000 miles, in favor of a Chevy Avalanche 08 with 28500 miles. All the bells and whistles and a Triton 5x8 aluminum trailer... Gotta love good credit... lol

Hey Big mack show us a pic of that LTD. I have the 10 800 max xt-p and sure do like the power steering. I did put a clutch kit in mine along with an hmf and a programmer and then had it tuned. It still doesnt have the same launch that my 07 800 max had but, I really like the 10 better for trail riding. I too have the 26" horns on mine, along with the brp rear trunk. I rode right at 700 miles at hatfield McCoy last thanksgiving in 7 days, and the power steering made it feel like I hadnt ridden at all. About 3 weeks ago had a top end race with a buddy who just bought a brand new left over 08 650 and he told me he was quite impressed when he looked down and saw his speedo read 74, that is untill I went by him at 78.
